Sandip Sheth, PharmD, MBA

Sam Sheth is a licensed pharmacist with an extensive background in executive pharmacy administration, he is a regulatory compliance surveyor and operational and strategy consultant. He is skilled in helping healthcare facilities address problems in management and workflows as well as improve operational efficiencies. Sam is further highly experienced in developing and implementing policies and protocols that meet governing regulations and facility best practices. As a pharmacy executive in a 200-bed teaching hospital, Sam improved operational productivity from 83% to 104% in six months, exceeded quality measures, improved patient outcomes, and reduced length of stay. Over the past fifteen years, Sam has served as a compliance consultant for many healthcare facilities across the country to identify and correct regulatory concerns.

In his roles at a leader in a pediatric hospital and a 357-bed teaching hospital, Sam also identified over $19M in annual lost revenue in operational inefficiency, streamlined operations to decrease medication delivery time by approximately 75%, and used Lean and Kiazen principles to improve operational workflow and employee satisfaction by 20%. In his role as a leader in a multi-hospital system, Sam has increased revenue by 16% in 8 months and reduced costs by 20% in 12 months.

Sam has served as a compliance consultant for many health care facilities across the country to identify and to correct any regulatory concerns.

With his experience in hospitals and health systems, as well as keen strategic thinking and adept management skills, Sam approaches consulting engagements with the know-how to help clients be successful. Sam has integrated pharmacy and laboratory services across 29 hospitals; designed a new operating model to capture revenue and cost synergies as part of the postmerger integration effort of three healthcare systems, resulting in a cost savings of more than $20M. Sam has also assisted in the design of a low-cost operating model and provided project management support for two large national health plans. Internationally, Sam has created strategies to reduce wait time and increase access for patients seeking care.

Sam earned his Doctorate of Pharmacy from Purdue University and his Master of Business Administration from New York University, with concentrations in corporate finance, strategy, and management.
